Watch highlights from the Dakar G20 Conference on Africa’s voice in global dialogue

Hosted by AfriCatalyst in partnership with South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) UNDP Africa , the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD – the Dakar dialogue brought together policymakers, regional institutions, civil society, development partners, and financial actors to stress the need for greater coordination, shared priorities, and inclusive participation.

The discussions highlighted aligning regional perspectives, advancing the African Common Position on Debt, reforming the global financial architecture to lower the cost of capital, enhancing data transparency, and ensuring technical expertise supports leaders in global forums.
